SAC

From Retro Arcade Guides

SAC means "Seeding After Completion". It's the amount of time you were seen as "seed" on a torrent. When a torrent is completed, your client sends an information to the tracker who says "hey, I got all the files now, so I am not a "leecher" anymore but a "seed"". Then, after receiving this info, the tracker counts the time you stay as seeder on the torrent.

KKB

Example: If your SAC is 9W 2D 21h 33m 51s, this means you seeded the related torrent for 9 weeks, 2 days, 21 hours, 33 minutes and 51 seconds.

If you were seeding a torrent, and later you download even a single byte of it again, your SAC time is reset to zero. See Deluge Bugs.

The ASAC is the "Average of the SACs" of all your torrents in the "Torrent History" section of the tracker.

FAQ

  • Question: There are members that have been seeding a torrent for 4 days, but the torrent was released only 2 days ago. Is it a miracle?
  • Answer: Not a miracle. The member has been seeding from 2 places at the same time.
