GoROM

GoROM is a new ROM manager. It's at https://github.com/shumatech/gorom

It is not meant to be a full replacement for clrmamepro or other ROM managers but instead the goals were:

  • Open source
  • Cross-platform for Linux, Mac OS X, and Windows
  • Include both a full-featured command-line interface and a simple GUI
  • Simple to use as possible and focus on the basics of checking and fixing ROM sets
  • Manage DAT, torrent, and TorrentZip files

If anyone wants to try it out or help test, the latest release can be downloaded at https://github.com/shumatech/gorom/releases

Note that this is early release software that has not been tested across a wide range of systems so back up your files prior to trying it out. Feedback is appreciated.
