CUSTOM-FREE Tickets

As from the date of this post (15th March 2013) we will be issuing 1 x ticket* to each member on the anniversary of joining Pleasuredome (excluding shitlisted/permabanned). Each ticket will allow you to create a [Custom Free] torrent from any regular torrent of your choosing and will be valid for the lifetime of the torrent.

* These tickets can also be issued as prizes or at staff discretion for members who have contributed in some way.

When you are eligible for a free ticket you get a Private Message (PM) via the tracker.

Now that you are eligible when you are browsing the torrents you will note a new column that says [b][Free me][/b]. If you click on "Free me" for your chosen torrent you will be directed to a confirmation screen to confirm your selection. It can't be undone.

FAQ

Here are the Frequently Asked Questions:

1. If the torrent we chose to make free has an uploader bonus, does that still work?
   Yes, if you used it on a torrent that has uploader bonus but isn't [FREE] you would get the best of both worlds on the torrent.
   
   
2. Does one lose the ticket if it's not used?
   You won't lose the ticket. It will remain on your record until you use it. Should you gain another one for any reason it will increment.
   
   
3. Can I update the torrent I made free so the new one is free also?
   No, you can't update it for free. It's only for the life of the torrent version you choose.
   
   
4. Can I accidentally set a torrent free?
   No, you have to confirm your action. Be careful, it can't be undone.
   
   
5. Will the next non-free torrent I'll join (at 0%) be accounted for as CUSTOM-FREE Ticket?
   No, unless you choose to make it free. Remember: only members in good standing will get 1 x ticket on an annual basis.
   
   
6. So I received my CUSTOM-FREE Ticket and thought to myself "I'll make that Win3xO torrent that I downloaded a few weeks back free".
   It doesn't work that way. You can make an already downloaded torrent free [b][color=Red](not recommended, a BIG no, no!)[/color][/b], but the cost of the download won't be deducted from your stats. CUSTOM-FREE Tickets are used to make a torrent version that you don't have, free.
   
   
7. I have downloaded part of a non-free torrent, but after I used a CUSTOM-FREE Ticket on it the amount I downloaded wasn't zeroed.
   Tickets are not retroactive. What you downloaded before you made it free is kept non-free.
   
   
8. A torrent was free initially, but while I was downloading it, it stopped being free. Now that I finished downloading, I used a CUSTOM-FREE Ticket on it but it didn't zeroed what wasn't free.
   Tickets are not retroactive. What you downloaded while it wasn't free is kept even if you use a ticket on it.
   
   
9. Can I give one or more of my CUSTOM-FREE Tickets to another member?
   No, they are not transferable.
   
   
10. When I use a CUSTOM-FREE Ticket, will the torrent be free for everybody?
    No, it will be free only for you.
